You will find a full range of styles here: hinged segment rings that click securely into place, seamless continuous rings for a minimal look, flat-back labret studs that sit flush against the back of the ear for comfortable sleeping, and threadless push-pin earrings that snap together without any screwing. Each style suits different cartilage placements and aesthetic preferences.

The right diameter depends on your specific piercing and ear anatomy. Smaller 6mm hoops hug the cartilage tightly for a snug, delicate look, while 8mm and 10mm options provide more visible curvature. For flat-back studs, a 6mm post length is standard for healed cartilage piercings, with longer options available if your piercing is still settling. Lighter jewellery reduces pressure on the cartilage, which helps prevent irritation bumps and supports faster healing. ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium is one of the two materials (alongside implant-grade steel) most widely recommended for new piercings by professional piercers. An industrial barbell sits at 14G (1.6mm) and connects two helix piercings across the ear with a single straight bar. The titanium construction keeps the bar lightweight, which reduces pressure on both piercing sites, and the nickel-free surface means it will not cause irritation during the extended healing period this placement requires.

The collection includes straight barbells with a range of threaded end combinations, from plain ball ends to CZ stone ends and spike ends. Industrial barbells are available in standard lengths to span the distance between the two helix points. All threaded ends are interchangeable with other 14G threaded pieces, so different end styles can be mixed without changing the bar itself.

The industrial piercing creates a strong visual line across the upper ear and has become one of the most popular ear statement piercings. It works well alongside helix rings or a conch stud on the same ear, adding structure to a stacked look. Because the bar spans the full width of the ear, it has more visual presence than individual cartilage piercings and tends to anchor the overall ear arrangement.

Industrial barbells require careful aftercare because two separate piercing channels must heal at the same time. Almost perfect
Overall really good quality and very comfy to wear. However the fastening was a little fiddly at first, so I’ve knocked off one star. Still, the implant grade titanium and the fact it arrives sterilised in recyclable packaging make it an easy recommend.
