A Jestrum piercing, also known as a vertical Medusa, is a lip piercing located in the Philtrum. Unlike the standard Medusa piercing which is horizontal, the Jestrum piercing is vertical and goes through the philtrum, exiting on the underside of the upper lip. This creates a visible decorative end on both the top and bottom of the piercing.
