Solid 14K gold clicker rings
Discover 14K solid gold piercing jewellery from Camden Body Jewellery: a polished yellow gold hoop and a green cubic zirconia clicker. Both designs use a hinged closure and a 16G (1.2mm) gauge. Choose a plain finish for a simple gold look, or green CZ for a little colour in your ear stack.
Find your gold clicker
- Plain Clicker Ring in Solid 14K Gold — a smooth yellow gold hoop, offered in 8mm and 10mm inner diameters. A simple choice to wear on its own or alongside other jewellery.
- Green CZ Clicker Ring in Solid 14K Gold — yellow gold with green cubic zirconia detailing, offered in an 8mm inner diameter. The green stones add colour while keeping the compact hoop shape.
Each ring is sold individually. Check the selected size and current availability on the product page before ordering.
Choosing the right size
Gauge and diameter describe two different measurements. 16G is the 1.2mm thickness of the part that passes through the piercing. Inner diameter is the distance across the inside of the hoop. An 8mm ring and a 10mm ring can have the same gauge but sit differently.
Choose measurements that suit your piercing, anatomy and preferred fit. A placement name alone cannot tell you the right diameter. Use our piercing jewellery size guide, or ask your piercer to confirm your measurements before choosing a ring.
14K gold jewellery FAQs
Are these clickers solid 14K gold or gold plated?
Both clickers in this collection are made from solid 14K yellow gold. The gold alloy forms the metal of the jewellery; it is not a PVD gold coating over titanium or another base metal.
What does 14K gold mean?
14K means 14-carat gold, also written as 14ct. It describes a gold alloy rather than pure 24-carat gold. “Solid gold” describes the material throughout the metal, while “gold plated” describes a surface layer. The carat tells you the gold purity, not the size of the hoop.
Which gauges and hoop sizes are available?
Both designs are 16G (1.2mm). The plain solid gold clicker comes in 8mm and 10mm inner diameters. The green CZ solid gold clicker comes in an 8mm inner diameter. Select your size on the product page to check availability.
Are the green stones emeralds?
The green stones are cubic zirconia, often abbreviated to CZ. They are not emeralds. Choose the green CZ clicker for its green stone detail, or the plain gold clicker for a smooth, stone-free finish.
How does a hinged clicker ring work?
A small segment of the hoop pivots open on a hinge. Once positioned, the segment closes back into the ring with a click. Open the hinged segment gently and align it before closing; avoid twisting the whole hoop sideways or forcing the mechanism.
Can I wear a gold clicker in a lobe, helix or septum piercing?
A clicker may suit these placements when its gauge, inner diameter and shape match your individual piercing. The same ring will fit differently on different people. Ask your piercer to confirm suitability, especially before changing jewellery in a new piercing.
Is each clicker sold singly or as a pair?
Each listing is for one clicker ring. Order two individual rings if you would like a matching pair, checking the size selected for each.
How should I care for solid gold and green CZ jewellery?
Gently wipe the jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth. For cleaning removed jewellery, use lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse and dry thoroughly. Keep it away from chlorine, household cleaning chemicals and abrasive cleaners. Store pieces separately to reduce scratches, and handle the hinge and stone setting gently.
