The conch piercing is a single piercing through the centre cartilage of the ear. There are two styles: inner conch and outer conch.

Positioned on the flat part of the ear's outer edge, people often wear larger hoops and rings on the outer conch.

The inner conch is located in the centre of the ear, creating a more tucked-away look. People often wear labret studs in these, although smaller hoops and barbells can also be worn.
