Dermal piercings are where a dermal anchor is implanted beneath the skin's surface, leaving a single end visible. Unlike traditional piercings that penetrate through one side of the skin and exit through another, dermal piercings have only one point of entry and do not have a separate exit point. This creates the appearance of small beads, gems, or other decorative pieces sitting on top of the skin.
