The conch piercing is a single piercing through the centre cartilage of the ear. There are two styles: inner conch and outer conch.

Positioned on the flat part of the ear's outer edge, people often wear larger hoops and rings on the outer conch. These outer conch hoops typically range from having an inner diameter of 10mm or greater.

The inner conch is located in the centre of the ear, creating a more tucked-away look. People often wear labret studs in these.
